OneDrive and SharePoint as Network File Storage

In line with the "Cloud-First" strategy, Microsoft Office 365 is adopted as our strategic platform for handling document storage, sharing and collaboration.  Office 365 is a fast-evolving platform with productivity enhancement tools like Office Online, OneDrive for Business, SharePoint Online and many others.

OneDrive for Business allows you to store all your personal files online and access them anywhere from your PC, Mac, mobile and any web browser device. Besides, you can also share files with other users and synchronize them with all your device.  A huge secure storage of 5TB is provided.  OneDrive for Business is available for any staff and student users and we highly recommend all users to adopt it for productivity improvement and better data loss protection. SharePoint Online has similar features as OneDrive but is positioned as a departmental, rather than personal, storage.  A departmental administrator needs to be assigned for administering each SharePoint site.  More details can be found at:
